Every Terrachow courier in ChowRush used to look the same: black helmet, red jacket, yellow bike. Not anymore.
The new Garage lets you choose how your rider and bike look on the road, and you pay for it with Chow Coins, a new reward you earn just by riding.
How you earn Chow Coins
Chow Coins come from your Ride score, the score that rates how well you rode: distance covered, the delivery, time left on the clock and safe riding.
- You get 1 Chow Coin for every 10 points of Ride score.
- A good delivery earns about 100 coins.
- Coins are added once your ride has been checked, the same way your Terrachow points are.
Ride well, finish the delivery and avoid crashes, and the coins add up quickly.
What you can buy
The Garage has four sections. Everyone starts with the classic Terrachow look for free, and you unlock the rest with coins:
Helmet
- Clean white: 150 coins
- Green-white-green: 400 coins
- Gold chrome: 1,000 coins
Food box
- Jollof red: 200 coins
- Midnight black: 200 coins
- Ankara print: 700 coins
Jacket
- Ocean blue: 150 coins
- Leaf green: 150 coins
- Royal purple: 250 coins
Bike paint
- Gloss black: 200 coins
- Candy red: 300 coins
- Royal blue: 300 coins
- Gold flake: 1,200 coins
Gold chrome and Gold flake are for the riders who really put in the work.
How to use the Garage
- Open ChowRush from your Terrachow home screen.
- Tap 🛵 Garage on the menu.
- Pick a section: Helmet, Food box, Jacket or Bike paint.
- Tap any look to try it on. Your rider changes straight away, so you can see it before you spend anything.
- Tap Buy, then tap again to confirm. You're wearing it immediately.
Anything you've bought stays yours. Switch between your looks any time with Wear it.
Chow Coins are not Terrachow points
This is the important bit, so we'll keep it simple:
- Terrachow points are real rewards. ChowRush deliveries earn them, and you spend them on free drinks, free delivery and delivery credit.
- Chow Coins are for the Garage only. They come from your Ride score and are spent on looks.
Buying a helmet never touches your Terrachow points, and your Chow Coins can't be swapped for food. Looks are just for style too: they never change how your bike rides, so every rider has the same chance on the road.
